AT A GLANCE

What the lab found

First, the short version. After that, you will find every single result further down this page, with a note on what it means.

No Salmonella or STEC found

The lab tested 25 g of powder for Salmonella and for Shiga toxin-producing E. coli (STEC). It found neither.

Four counts under 100 CFU/g

Coliforms, E. coli, Staphylococcus aureus, and yeast and mould were all below the lowest level the test reports. The general bacteria count, on the other hand, was 1,400 CFU/g.

Heavy metals measured

Lead 0.179 ppm, arsenic 0.405 ppm, cadmium 0.0115 ppm and mercury 0.0272 ppm, in parts per million.

FULL RESULTS

Every result on the report

Here are the full kratom lab results, test by test, exactly as the lab reported them, with a plain-words note beside each one.

Bacteria, yeast and mould

These tests count living bacteria, yeast and mould in the powder. They also check for two specific bacteria in a 25 g portion.

Heavy metals

Plants take up small amounts of metals from the soil they grow in, so the lab measures how much is there, in parts per million (ppm).

0.0272 mg in a whole kilogram of powder.

Kratom alkaloids

Alkaloids are natural compounds that the kratom plant makes. The lab measured eight of them, as a share of the powder’s weight. Read more about mitragynine and 7-OH.

How to read this lab report

Lab reports look technical, but five quick checks cover most of what matters, on our report or on any other.

Want the longer version? Our guide on how to read a certificate of analysis goes through each part step by step.

1

Check who tested it

First, look for the lab’s name at the top. On our report, it is Murray-Brown Laboratories, an outside lab.

2

Look at the dates

Then look at when the lab received the sample and signed the report. For ours, that was April 28, 2026 and May 2, 2026.

3

Match the sample code

The sample code, 2604D42-001 H0, matters because it ties every result to the sample the lab received.

4

Learn the units

CFU/g counts living bacteria, yeast or mould in one gram, while ppm means parts per million. Also, a percentage is a share of the powder’s weight.

5

Read the signs

A less-than sign (<) means the amount was below the lowest level the test can report. Similarly, "Absent" means the lab found none in the amount tested.

THE FULL REPORT

Download the full lab report

The PDF has two pages. First, page 1 gives our plain-words summary of every result. Then page 2 shows the lab’s own report, in full and unedited, exactly as the lab issued it.

The report names our supplier, the company that sent the sample to the lab. We show it unedited because the lab asks for its reports to be shown in full, and because a complete report is one you can check for yourself.

GOOD TO KNOW

What this report shows, and what it does not

Covered by this report

Not covered by this report

We will also add more reports to this page when we receive them. Meanwhile, if you would like to know more about a product before you order, text or call us at (647) 330-9497. You can also browse our kratom powders or read how kratom strains differ.

WHY WE SHARE IT

Why we publish our kratom lab results

Plenty of sellers say their kratom is lab tested, but fewer show you the report. So we would rather you see it for yourself: who did the testing, when they did it, what they tested for and what they found.

However, a lab report does not change the rules. Health Canada has not approved kratom as a food, natural health product or medicine, so a report cannot change that. Instead, it shows what an outside lab measured in a sample. Our page on whether kratom is legal in Canada also explains the rules in plain words.

The same checks also work with any seller. For example, ask for a recent report from an independent lab, then look at the lab’s name, the dates, the sample code and the units. Our guide on how to judge kratom quality has a simple checklist, too.

FAQ

Questions about our lab results

Cannot find your answer? Call or text (647) 330-9497 between 9:00 AM and 10:00 PM, seven days a week.

What are kratom lab results?

They are the results of tests an outside lab runs on a sample of kratom, listed on a document called a certificate of analysis, or COA. In other words, the report shows what the lab tested for, what it found and the units it used. New to kratom? Start with our simple guide.

Who tested this sample?

Murray-Brown Laboratories, Inc. tested it. The lab is in Northglenn, Colorado, USA, and our supplier sent it the sample.

Which product does this report cover?

The report names the sample by a code, 2604D42-001 H0, rather than by strain. So it shows the results for one sample of kratom powder from our supplier. We will also add reports for more of our strains when we receive them. Read how kratom strains differ.

What does "less than" mean on the report?

It means the amount was below the lowest level that test can report. For example, “less than 100 CFU/g” means under 100 colony-forming units in a gram.

Why is 7-OH so low?

7-OH (7-hydroxymitragynine) occurs only in traces in plain kratom leaf. As a result, on this report it was below 0.02%, the lowest level the test measures. Also, we do not sell 7-OH products. Read what 7-OH is.

Does a lab report mean kratom is approved in Canada?

No. A lab report only shows what the lab found in a sample, so it does not change the law. Health Canada has not approved kratom as a food, natural health product or medicine. Read our legal page.

Can I ask about a lab report before I order?

Yes. Just text or call (647) 330-9497, or email kratomdeliverycanada@gmail.com, and then we will tell you what we have for the product you are looking at. Go to our contact page.
