Description
The Green Maeng Da strain is one of the most familiar names in kratom. However, many shoppers are not sure what the name actually means. So, this page explains the strain name first.
What Does Green Maeng Da Strain Mean?
In kratom, a strain name is a trade label rather than a separate plant. Typically, it combines a vein colour with a grade or a region. For instance, Maeng Da is Thai slang for “pimp grade”, which sellers use for a select grade of leaf. Green, on the other hand, names the colour of the leaf veins when the leaves come off the tree.
Where This Green Vein Grade Comes From
First, our Green Maeng Da comes from mature kratom trees in Southeast Asia. Next, the dried leaf goes through a mill that grinds it into a very fine powder with no fillers. Before any batch goes on sale, a third-party lab tests it. For a wider look at vein colours and grade names, browse our kratom strains overview.
Green Maeng Da Strain Sizes and Prices
This listing comes in 50 g, 125 g, 250 g, 500 g, 750 g and 1 kg bags. Meanwhile, prices range from $25 for the smallest bag to $200 for 1 kg. We also carry a separate Green Maeng Da Kratom Powder listing, and it offers the same six sizes.
Keeping Your Order Fresh
Above all, kratom powder keeps best in a sealed bag. For that reason, store it somewhere cool and dry, and also keep it away from direct light.
